Trench Warz VII

The heat of battle was on as Iakopo and Fitial threw punches in the main event of Trench Warz VII. This match was a no brainer as Fitial had just come off of a tournament in Korea at the Jangchung gymnasium. It was a loss but there was no doubt that there would be something learned. The Iakopo vs. Fitial rematch was highly anticipated for MMA fans. And it was a great show.

The match was temporarily stopped by 'Crank' midway but that didn't stop Fit 'The Hit' from finishing off Iakopo with a barage of blows on a covered up Iakopo. There was no love lost between these two fighters but it will probably make Iakopo think about entering the ring for another re-re- match.



Other notable matches saw the guam bred Ryan 'the dentist' Urquizu duke it out with Simon Sebuu. Urquizu was under fire early from Sebuu but the more skillful dentist took his time to set up Sebuu. This undercard was definitely a crowd favorite here in Saipan.



His record before entering the octagon had been 3-1-0 as reported by FCfighter.brinkster.net. His previous loss was to Ted Vida back in October 2000 at the UOG Fieldhouse. This win imroves his record to 4-1-0.

The recent win of the dentist versus Guam monster Wenju Bamba in 2006 is also fight to remember.
